Grading & Site Prep

Every project lives or dies at the base. We excavate, cut, fill, and laser-grade to plan tolerance so water runs where it should and whatever you build sits on ground that won't move. You bring the plans; we bring the equipment and the operator who reads a grade in their sleep.

Laser grading & pad work

Laser and machine-control grading takes the guesswork out of the surface. We set the grade, verify it, and deliver pads that sit flat where they should and fall where they must.

  • Building and equipment pads to design elevation
  • Parking, yard, and laydown areas
  • Subgrade prep ahead of paving or aggregate
  • Fine grading for surface drainage

Cuts, fills & compaction

Balanced earthwork keeps material on site and trucks off the road. We plan cut and fill together, place in lifts, and compact to spec.

Why grade tolerance matters

Grade is the cheapest drainage system you will ever buy. Getting it right up front prevents ponding, undermining, and the repair work that follows.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between rough and finish grading?
Rough grading establishes bulk elevations and drainage patterns; finish grading brings the surface to final tolerance for whatever goes on top. We self-perform both.
How do you handle hard or rocky ground?
We rip, hammer, or over-excavate based on what the material actually is, and reuse suitable material as base rather than exporting it by default.
Do you work from engineered plans?
Yes — plan-driven, to the engineer's tolerance, with field coordination when conditions differ from the drawings.
