Erosion Control & Ground Stabilization — Arizona
Jenterra supplies and installs erosion control, dust control, slope stabilization, and drainage systems across Arizona — from Sonoran Desert grading in Phoenix Metro to post-fire recovery in the high country around Flagstaff, Prescott, and Payson. We are Arizona-licensed, ROC-registered, and hold Certified DBE and SBE status, and every job is scoped, supplied, and installed by our own crews out of Scottsdale.
One state, several very different ground conditions
Arizona isn't one job site. A subdivision pad in Buckeye sits on caliche and desert pavement; a slope above Flagstaff sits on cinder and volcanic ash; a Prescott hillside is decomposed granite that sheds like sand the moment vegetation is stripped. We built our crews and our material stock around that range instead of treating the whole state like a single desert.
That's also why we work statewide but stay based in Scottsdale — close enough to mobilize into the Valley same-week, and set up to run crews and material to Flagstaff, Prescott, or Payson for scheduled work without treating those jobs as an afterthought.
Statewide regulatory baseline
Every construction site over one acre in Arizona needs coverage under ADEQ's AZPDES Construction General Permit, with a SWPPP that identifies the BMPs you'll install and maintain through substantial completion and final stabilization. That requirement doesn't change by county — what changes is what local jurisdictions layer on top of it.
Maricopa County and its cities administer their own stormwater and dust programs under Rule 310, requiring dust control permits for earthmoving activity. Coconino, Yavapai, and Gila counties run their own grading and floodplain permitting, and in burn-scar areas some require an approved erosion control plan before a grading permit is issued at all. We track the applicable permit conditions for each site we bid rather than assuming one county's rules apply everywhere.

Jenterra is based in Scottsdale and works Phoenix Metro daily — installing SWPPP-aligned erosion and sediment control, plant-based dust suppression, and slope stabilization on residential subdivisions, commercial pads, and infrastructure corridors across Maricopa County under Rule 310 dust control requirements and the statewide AZPDES Construction General Permit.
Flagstaff
Jenterra installs post-fire slope stabilization, erosion control blankets, and revegetation on Flagstaff's cinder and volcanic soils, where burn-scar runoff and snowmelt combine to move ground fast on steep terrain above 6,000 feet — coordinated with Coconino County grading and stormwater permitting and the statewide AZPDES Construction General Permit.
Prescott
Jenterra stabilizes decomposed-granite slopes and installs erosion control across the Prescott area, where granitic soils shed quickly once disturbed and hillside development is common — work coordinated with Yavapai County grading and stormwater permitting and the statewide AZPDES Construction General Permit.
Payson
Jenterra installs erosion control, post-fire restoration, and slope stabilization for Payson and the Mogollon Rim region, where transitional soils, steep rim-country grade, and elevated wildfire exposure combine — coordinated with Gila County grading and stormwater permitting and the statewide AZPDES Construction General Permit.

- Yes. Our Arizona ROC license and AZPDES-aligned practices apply statewide — we currently work only in Arizona and don't claim licensure in any other state.
- Do you supply materials only, or install too?
- Both, on every job. We stock the geocells, blankets, wattles, and dust suppressants we specify and install them with our own crews, so a failed BMP gets replaced from our inventory instead of waiting on a distributor.
- Which areas of Arizona do you actually serve?
- Phoenix Metro is our home base, and we run scheduled work in Flagstaff, Prescott, and Payson as well as smaller communities across those regions. Call to confirm mobilization for your specific site.
